It’s that time again…big gappy smiles on my little one’s face.  He’s just lost a tiny little milk tooth and will put it under the pillow tonight for the mouse, not the fairy!  In France and most francophone countries with the exception of Canada, it’s a mouse “la petite souris” who comes in the night to take away the tooth. The fairy seems to be confined to the “anglo-saxon” world.

What happens where you live?  Do you have a mouse, a fairy or something completely different?  I’d love to hear about your traditions.
