Vietnam by night. Photos taken for my “Sunday Photo” of Hoi An and Hanoi at night. The top photo is the Japanese bridge in Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage sight and the bottom photo is of Hoan Kiem lake in Hanoi with the Huc bridge lit up in red.

16 Day Travel Itinerary in Vietnam
Both photos have mirror images in the water. The top one is Hoi An, the bottom one Hanoi, both in Vietnam.
It really was, Fiona.
Thanks for such an enthusiastic response!
Both places were lovely at night, but especially Hoi An, the top photo.
One of my favourite places too. We had a wonderful time thank you Emma.
Thank Jane!
Thank you Victoria 🙂
There will be plenty, I promise Catherine!
You’re right it didn’t look anything like this, but its soul is still the same despite enormous changes. (Nor did Hoi An!)
2 different cities; same country. It was an incredible trip.
Yes they sure do!
Wow such stunning night shots, things look so magical at night don’t they? x
Gorgeous photos – it looks like an amazing place to visit
Hanoi certainly didn’t look much like this when we visited in the early Nineties. It had very little street lighting, but plenty of atmosphere – which I hope has survived the arrival of bling?
Looking forward to lots more photos of vietnam
What utterly gorgeous photos – and a stunning location too. Brilliantly done x

It looks wonderful there all lit up at night
Hi Lou, I’m not sure where the photo has been taken, but the water is acting like a perfect mirror!
