Big news in France. Phase 2 of deconfinement has been announced. From June 2nd we will be allowed to travel freely in France. Restaurants, beaches, parks and museums will open (with social distancing rules in place). This is great news for tourism and for little businesses like Lou Messugo. We can at long last welcome guests again.
Because of this news and because of a big competition I ran on Facebook all week, I was manically busy and failed to publish a Friday Photo post on Friday! We have redecorated the whole gite including repainting shelves and painted furniture.
Last Sunday we went for a picnic with friends, to one of our favourite spots, a plateau above Tourrettes sur Loup strangely called Le Caire (Cairo). It was perfect – exactly what I’d been dreaming about for months. Huge views and big open spaces. The wild flowers were gorgeous, the smell of wild thyme and broom intoxicating.

I am so happy we will soon be able to travel freely in France. How is lockdown where you are? Are things easing up for you too?
