It had been on mine for years. I’m so glad I’ve finally been.
Oh yes, the London Eye really is high, it’s not something I actually like to focus on!!
It was damp!!! But fun nonetheless.
We nearly didn’t go and then we’d risk it and it was great, we could see pretty well as it was only drizzling. (It also meant the queue wasn’t very long, which was a bonus).
Blimey Rosie, you’re a bit of an expert! 😉
How lovely! :):):)
I must say it was very typical English weather, but it didn’t spoil our fun.
That is a brilliant shot, you captured typical English weather too!
Mollyxxx
We finally got on it the other day, in just the same sort of weather, and hugely enjoyed it. We were treated by our three (adult!) children, which made it all the better.
I’ve been on The Eye 3 times now and loved it each time – the boys, however, were too young to remember when we took them on so I really should try to get back there so they can go on again.
Cool pic! We were in London yesterday but because of the weather didn’t bother going on the London Eye, didn’t think we’d see very far!
It looks a bit damp! Lovely photo. I would love to take the kids on this.
What an amazing view! So high! #mysundayphoto
A great capture. This is on our to do list
I did thanks Kim.
I always used to say that; now I can say “I’ve done it!” 😀
Yes the view was still very good even in the drizzle. I loved it.
Funny that we were there at almost the same time. No I didn’t go to the cinema, I was having an adult weekend, which meant galleries, restaurants and the Eye.
I’ve wanted to go on it for years but one of my kids is very afraid of heights so we never go on it when in London. This time I was there without my kids so it was the perfect opportunity and I loved it. Even in the rain.
Yes it’s the London Eye in drizzle!
No it was drizzle, though it was very cold outside!
Yup, we still had a good view, the rain wasn’t too hard, more like drizzle really.
So did I Catherine 🙂
loved it, it was a first for me too.
It was just light drizzle, looking the other way it was dry, but I rather liked the effect of the droplets on the glass.
What a fab photo! I hope you had a great day!
wow fabulous shot. a bit tricky to work out what is going on:) rain or snow?
I’ve never actually been on the eye, did you enjoy it?
Thank you for linking up
This is some photo. After years of resisting I have now been on the London eye and I really enjoyed it.
Even in the rain the London Eye is amazing
Is that snow coming down? My husband and kids went on the London Eye a few weeks ago and loved it, but I was happy to stay on the ground!
One of these days we will ride that blasted thing!!
Shame it was wet, but even so I bet the view was good! We did this years ago and I really enjoyed it x
I am trying to work out where this is! It looks like London to me, especially because of the rain! #MySundayPhoto
Shame about the weather – but hope you enjoyed it. Rain or shine, we’ve always loved the experience of seeing London from on high.
We did this last week too, love your photo, did you do the 4D cinema too? My Kids adored that
