He is such an amazing dude! Thanks for sharing =) #mysundayphoto
What an incredible shot, I just love Gaudi, his work was so visionary and inspirational. I could never ever get bored of visiting Barcelona it has to be one of the most beautiful cities x
How fabulous! It really does look like water, Gaudi was amazing. Great photo x
Is that a reflection? A great capture #MySundayPhoto
This is fab – some sort of reflection viewed through something, but I can’t really work it out! It’s very pretty though 🙂
Something to do with Senor Gaudi perhaps?
This has me puzzled…I do think it’s pretty though x
I was going to say water reflection but Vic’s comment has me questioning?
you really must go back, it’s such a great place, one of my favourite cities in the whole world!
Ah ha, clever Vicky, you are the closest so far!
I really must get back to Barcelona one day – I missed too much when I was last there over 25 years ago, a broke inter-railer who spent her last peso on a large jug of sangria!
This is a great shot! I love it. I am guessing it is a window on some stairs but it really looks like water 🙂 x
No, looking through the lift doors made of glass with wooden decoration, across to blue tiled walls!
Yes! Gaudi’s masterpiece, the Casa Batllo. See replies to other comments.
Nope, not a swimming pool, just looking through glass at blue tiles in a lift shaft in the Casa Batllo, house designed by Gaudi in Barcelona. The wood is decoration across the door.
Glass! But the architect (Gaudi) wanted to make people think of water which seems to be working here from the comments!
Water is what Gaudi wanted people to see, but this is in fact glass and blue tiles!
I’m loving all the comments seeing this as water, which is exactly what Gaudi intended in the house he designed in Barcelona, Casa Batllo, but this is in fact looking through glass at blue tiled walls! The wooden beams are railings on the lift door in the internal courtyard “light well”.
Mirror? Brilliant
Love this Lou, such an interesting shot. I can make out it’s water, but not the wooden beams, I can’t work out what they are! 🙂
I love the ripples of the water
Thank you for linking up
Barcelona?
Curious photo Lou, is it glass or water?
What is this? Swimming pool and ???
