The garden at Lou Messugo, the lane and the land out the back are looking good. Despite unfavourable weather conditions the flowers all around are doing their best to show us it’s spring-time. The pictures speak for themselves.
Update nearly one year later, 4th of April 2014 and the garden almost looks like this again. We’re about one month ahead of last year after such a mild winter. Interesting to see these annual differences. Is your garden ahead this year? Or have you had a harsh winter? It’s been all about extremes recently.

Our spring temperatures and hours of sun are easily as high as your summer ones Emma, by mid summer here everything is parched and brown 🙁
I LOVE bluebell time, we don’t get that around here.
Thanks for stopping by Jenny. I love the name of your blog!
Amazing to see how advanced the plants are in the south of France compared to the north of the UK, it looks almost mid summer where you are! Beautiful
Wow such an array of bright happy colours already – it really is all very pretty indeed! The gardens do feel a bit ahead this year – ants nests are already appearing, there are bees out in force and the bluebells are a few weeks ahead of last year!
