I have to say I love this. What an authentic, natural and just typical situation in France at a charming restaurant. Great shot.
They are all engrossed whatever he was saying which meant I could get my photo without being seen!
And we’ll never know what he was saying…. 🙁
Yes, I took this in the nearby village of St Paul de Vence.
Thanks Steph! 🙂
Thanks Fiona!
I love your absurdist comment Richard!!
I reckon they might be Darren!
They’re great aren’t they?!
“je ne te crois pas!”
yes Mina, I live in and blog about the south of France!
They really do exist in beautiful Provencal villages! 🙂
it was obviously good whatever it was!
It was pure luck that I got them all so engrossed as it was a quick snap when I thought they weren’t looking!
Looks like a serious but fun conversation! #mysundayphoto
I love completely natural unposed “life” shots! Great photo! 🙂
I really want to know what the standing man is saying.
Ah ha! So, this scene of handsome, expressive chefs and waiters in Europe is not just in movies. ::D
The View from the Top of the Ladder
This has to be somewhere on the continent.
I don’t believe you is what they are saying only I suppose it is in French. Great photo.
Great candid photo! Love the stripey trousers
I love this…are they telling tales of the night before
Thank you for linking up
There is a feeling of absurdist mystery about this picture. A cook and three waiters, one of them having a fag, gossiping outside their restau……., no, outside their handbag shop, equipped with just one food item, a gigantic tomato. Or is it a cherry?
That looks like a real behind the scenes shot, wonderful
Looks like he was telling a very captivating story, judging by the look on their faces! #MySundayPhoto
