School’s back! High school started again in France this week. Primary had already gone back a couple of weeks ago.
This is the new normal. Masks are obligatory for high schoolers and teachers. In our collège (middle school) the classes are split in two. Half the class go for a week then back home for a week. This means our son will have 2.5 weeks of school face to face with his teachers before the end of the school year and end of middle school. Next year lycée!
With JF taking public transport and the little kid going to school, we’re getting through a great deal of masks. The laundry has taken on a new look!
Has school gone back where you are? And are you wearing masks?

Very pretty. There’s not much else that’s positive or cheerful to say about coronavirus, so well done Phoebe for giving us something to enjoy.
Not many people wear: masks here. Glad the kid could get in a bit of school before he leaves for lycee. Extraordinary washing. You stay safe
Bravo Phoebe, adjusting to the “new normal” takes a little creativity and positive spirit.
Stay healthy,
xo
My two are both in lycée. Younger one in premier is gong back next week for just one week and the other is in terminale and waiting to hear if he will go back for one or two weeks after that. Younger one is madly hoping that the mask will reduce his hay fever otherwise he may have to stop going if he is unable to stop coughing and sneezing with it.
Let’s hope the mask helps not hinders Rosie, it’s not a nice thing to wear for a whole day, let alone if it makes his hayfever worse.
