This week quarantine reality at Lou Messugo gets boring! We’ve been getting into a rhythm of croquet – lots of croquet – technology and finding the best way to shop for groceries. We’ve tried Leclerc Drive (“click-and-collect”) which has had its pros and cons. On the plus side contact with human beings is minimal, but on the downside getting a slot and actually picking up has been difficult. No slots available for days, then huge (2+ hours) queues to pick up. We’ve also been to supermarkets with empty shelves.
The forests around Roquefort les Pins have been closed which is frustrating as that’s where I like to walk. We’re now limited to outings of 1 hour for exercise and only within 1 km of home.
I’ve started uploading photos of quarantine reality on Instagram stories (and saving in highlights) if you’d like to see more, why not pop over and follow me there.
We’ve turned to technology for our social life, having “Zoom apéros” with friends. This is as wild as it gets in quarantine reality!
