Over the last couple of weeks we’ve been busy getting into the Christmas spirit “à la Riviera”, going to Christmas markets in vineyards and villages, exploring medieval towns decked out with festive lights and enjoying the sunshine in Nice. Here is a small selection of images from these visits: “postcards” from Christmas on the French Riviera.
2016 has been pretty much written off by many as a hell of a year and it’s true many shocking and horrific things have taken place both locally and world wide but closer to home, for my immediate family, we have had some very good times with plenty of travel involved. On that personal note I’d like to wish all my readers a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, and thanks for the support this year.
Bonnes fêtes de fin d’année, see you in 2017!
Ha ha, the skiing chipmunk was rather bizarrely in a vineyard and I thought it was so out of character that it had to be included!!
Thanks Paulita!
Thank you Richard.
And a Happy New Year to you too.
I love seeing all the decorations and imagining how scrumptious those chocolates must be. Happy New Year to you.
