Garden Games and Easy Fun
Right here in the garden, you’ll find our pétanque (boules) pitch, perfect for trying your hand at this much-loved Provençal game. We provide everything you need so you can jump straight in. There’s also a ping pong table ready for a quick match and a selection of classic wooden games like Mölkky and Kubb – just ask if you’d like a quick introduction to the rules.
Feeling nostalgic? Our beautiful vintage croquet set is always a hit on the lawn. And that’s not all, there’s also spikeball, badminton, and volleyball for a bit of energetic fun.
In the warmer months, our lovely pool takes centre stage, perfect for swimming lengths, playing games, or simply cooling off after a strenuous game of table tennis. The pool is open approximately from mid May to mid September (weather dependant, it’s not heated!)
Step Outside: Walks, Runs & Nature Trails
Step outside the gate and you’ll discover a whole world of activity without ever needing the car. Lou Messugo is perfectly placed for forest walks, scenic runs, and both road and mountain biking routes.
Roquefort les Pins is surrounded by beautiful forest, with marked trails that wind through nature and local heritage. You can wander past gentle streams, stumble upon ancient ruins, or if you’re lucky, even spot deer, foxes or wild boar. The scent of wild lavender and thyme in the garrigue is something you’ll never forget.

Explore on Two Wheels
If you prefer exploring on two wheels, there are plenty of mountain bike (VTT) trails and iconic road cycling routes to choose from. And if the hills feel a little ambitious, electric bikes are available to hire right here in Roquefort les Pins – an easy and fun way to explore further.

Racquets Ready: Tennis, Padel & Pickleball in Town
For those who enjoy racquet sports, the Roquefort Tennis Club is just five minutes away by car (or a pleasant 25-minute walk). With tennis courts, padel, and even pickleball, it’s a welcoming club open to visitors all year round. We can advise on how to book a court.
Tee Off Nearby
Golf lovers are also well catered for, with two courses just a 10 minute drive away, perfect for a relaxed morning or an afternoon on the greens.
