Here we are, it’s 1st of March and there’s snow on the ground in the South of France. It’s mad! To divert my mind away from the crazy weather for a while I’m hoping to read lots of wonderful posts about France here at the 36th #AllAboutFrance. Surely that makes three years of linking up! And that in turn means a fair few blog posts about France, 1,260 (to be exact), have been linked up on this blog and another 43 on Oui in France when Diane kindly hosted for me.
Goodness that’s a lot of words about France with so many different bloggers linking up along the way. I’ve made many blogging friends through this linky and physically met quite a few of you too. Thank you all for joining in and making it such a fun place to be. Particular thanks goes to these die-hard regulars who’ve linked up every single time (or very very nearly). Oui in France, Eco-gites of Lenault, Lost in Lyon and The Curious Rambler.
Here are my favourites from last month, if you haven’t already read them I recommend you do.

What is All About France?
All About France is a monthly blog linky, linking up blog posts about France. These posts can be freshly scribbled or from your archives as a way of bringing new life to an old article. There is no date limit and the only rule for subject matter is that it is about France in some way. This can mean French language, French food, French style, French literature, expat life in France, French expats abroad or travel in France among other things. The linky opens on the 1st Thursday of each month and stays open for a week.
Here’s how to join in the fun
- You can link up one post, old or new as long as it’s about France/French.
- Please make sure you include the All About France badge at the bottom of your post or in the sidebar of your blog, or a hyperlink back to me (the html code is below).
- Please comment on the host’s posts and at least two others, the more the merrier.
- Blog linkys only work if you’re generous with your comments and shares.
- Please use the hashtag #AllAboutFrance when sharing on social media.
- Don’t forget you can join the Pinterest board and pin your post to it for extra exposure.
***Join in the fun on Instagram, use the hashtag #AllAboutFrance (and follow me @fibitee) and I’ll share your picture. Like/comment on other pictures with the hashtag***

This linky will stay open for a whole week and the next one will be in May or June (NOT APRIL), with some changes afoot…Watch this space.
Thanks so very much for choosing my post on Normandy as one of your favourites, Phoebe. And huge congratulations on your three-year anniversary! Felicitations chérie Xx
Congrats on the 3rd anniversary of a great Francophile linky. Will try to put something up later. I’m languishing in my 11th day of flu at the moment, and even the simplest task takes ages. However, I’m looking forward to reading this month’s posts, which will take my mind off it.
What a lot of hard work! We all thank you Phoebe for creating a great Francophile link up. Annette x
Happy to join in again! It’s a great linky and I cannot believe it is 3 years old. Here’s to the next 3 years!!
Congrats on third anniversary! Keep up the good work! #AllAboutFrance
Felicitation! Love France, love your blog ⯑
3 years! Happy 3rd birthday, Phoebe – those are some amazing statistics. We had snow in Cognac last night too, but it has more or less melted this morning. The poor daffodils and hyacinths are looking very sorry for themselves 🙁 #AllAboutFrance
Wow, 3 years old. Time flies, I sound like my grandma saying that but it’s so true. Congrats on the milestone! Happy to be here. 🙂
Can’t believe #AllAboutFrance is 3 years old – congratulations on such a great link up for Francophiles everywhere – I take it there’ll be cake! Hasn’t the snow been bizarre – the exclamations of people in Menton when we were there in the snow on Monday was wonderful to hear! Not exactly the warmest start to March though….. Brrrrrrr……
