All About France is a monthly blog linky all about France! Simply put, it links up blog posts with a French theme. Readers, this means you have a wide range of stories about France to enjoy and bloggers, this means you have a place to highlight anything you’ve written about France. I hope you all enjoy it.
Welcome to the third #AllAboutFrance blog link-up. I was very happy with the response to the second session, it was almost more nerve wracking second time around wondering if anyone would come back or if the first one had been a one-off. I’m delighted to say almost everyone from the first event returned and there were plenty of new blogs too – a big thank you, merci, to everyone who joined in. I really enjoyed reading all of your posts and seeing what a great variety of things you all blog about….
This time we had a whole gamut of subjects from foodie posts to cultural advice and cultural differences via visits to châteaux, quaint villages and unusual Paris locations. I was delighted to welcome the first blog in French, from Australia, no less, and a new blogger to France with her second ever post (another Aussie!) Once again I won’t say I’m picking favourites but a few stood out for me. I loved Christy’s petit weekend in Deauville, Rosie’s excellent advice about supermarkets in France and Rosemary’s lunch with learners.
A month has passed since the last link-up and I’m pleased to say spring is well and truly here in the south of France. As a traditional time of hope and renewal I’ve been busy spreading my wings in the writing department and getting involved in new projects. I wrote my first guest post for another blog about a memorable journey in Mongolia and I’m now a contributing writer at Perfectly Provence (#littlesquealofdelight, very chuffed with this!) I’m also hoping (against all common sense, but it’s good to dream right?) to get through the nominations in the Brilliance in Blogging Awards to the short list. I need all the votes I can get and would love it if you could take a moment to nominate me in the Travel section of the Brilliance in Blogging Awards. I’ve never entered a competition like this before and a few extra votes would make my day! Voting is open until 12 April. Click on the lovely yellow picture below to find the details and voting survey. (My Twitter address is @FibiTee for info). Thank you! Merci!
Back to the linky: please don’t forget that as with all blog link-ups they work best when everybody reads, comments on and shares as many of the other posts linked up as possible. Please do not just link your post and be off! This is not fair on other participants. Don’t forget to use the hashtag #AllAboutFrance when sharing on social media as this gets us all seen even more; I will retweet tweets using it or if you mention me (@FibiTee).
Full details of the link-up can be found here. It stays open for a whole week so you have plenty of time during the Easter break to join in. Which leads me to say have a very happy Easter everyone, joyeuses pâques! Eat plenty of chocolate!

I’m having problems with this too Rosemary, hopefully we’ll get there.
Great to join the link again. I would like to comment on the self-seeding spring garden but can’t find out how to be a user!
Glad you’re enjoying the linky Eduardo!

Yes, Betty, it is nominations that I need at this stage, thanks! 🙂
Phoebe, I tried to vote for you in the Blog Awards but didn’t really get it. It seems like it’s still in the nomination stages. In fact, do I need to nominate you, not exactly “vote for you?”
Yes, I hope the weather is nice — it looks like it will be! March was kind of a dry month blogging-wise and a wet month weather-wise, and the two go hand in hand. 🙂
Thien Lan, you’re on day one, that’s great! You haven’t missed the boat at all!! Thanks for linking up again.
Thanks for the reminder today! Guess I missed the boat again by posting so late in the day 🙁
I love your enthusiasm Christy! Thanks for your support.
Welcome Caro, I hope you enjoy it!

Hello BacktoBurgundy, you’re almost there, but although I’ve seen you’ve put my badge on your blog, you haven’t actually linked up here. I’ll see if I can contactyou by email for instructions. Thanks for trying and we’ll get you linked in no time!
Thanks for joining in Kim! Happy to have you here.
heehee! I’m sure my English is worse than it was 20 years ago!! 😀
Have a fun Easter in Paris Betty. I’m sure you’ll have lots of material for some interesting blog posts afterwards.
I am going also to Paris! And I will try to read as many posts as possible because they are all so interesting and different!
Thanks again for hosting! I know all the work that goes into this sort of thing, so just happy to take part. 😉
Thanks Mel, I loved you post on French schools.
Hi!
I will try the linking up thing this round 🙂
Danielle
My first linky. Hopefully I’m doing it right as I don’t really understand it (new technologies and ides are already taking me longer to grasp these days – goodness knows what I’ll be like in 10 years!).
Hi Phoebe, thanks for the invite. I just linked up ☺. Great work getting a writing job.
That would be “looking forward to participating!” Geez! I’m starting to sound like my English students…
Am looking forward to participate again! Things will be busy the next few days as I am going up to Paris for Easter weekend, but I will definitely be reading the blog posts. Great fun, thank you for organizing it again!
Hi Phoebe, Really looking forward to loads of posts about France tomorrow. Just linked! Well done for becoming a contributing writer at Perfectly Provence!
